Pain avoided: no quality loss, no recoding, no infrastructure rewrite, no manual workflow.
Input description: file type, size, source, entropy if known, and whether it is already compressed/encrypted.
Verifier needed: SHA-256 match, restore proof, baseline comparison, latency, memory, or storage cost.

Public roadmap gates

Pedulli ships public claims only when the verifier closes: exact restore, measured gain, or honest diagnostic. Random or encrypted inputs may produce proof-only artifacts; those are not presented as compression wins.
